Both the Small Business Debt Helpline and the NewAccess Small Business Owners programs will get a boost in 2025 as the federal government releases more funds for these projects.
From 1 January, new funding of $10.8 million over the next 18 months has been allocated.
The Small Business Debt Helpline provides free, independent and confidential support over the phone to small business owners who need financial counselling, regardless of the cause of their financial hardship. The helpline can be contacted on 1800 413 828.
NewAccess for Small Business Owners is a one-on-one mental health coaching program that gives business owners up to six structured sessions on the phone or via video call with a mental health coach.
The trained coaches have small business backgrounds, allowing them to understand the unique challenges faced by small business owners. For more information, call 1300 945 301 or visit the link below:
