The ATO will soon use the Australian Government Digital ID System to verify identity when you use Digital ID to access services, such as:
* Online services for business
* Relationship authorisation manager (RAM)
* Access manager
* Australian business register (ABR)
When the rollover takes place, you will still be able to use your Digital ID to log in. You will be prompted with two new screens during the login process.
1. Digital ID provider selection screen: here you will choose your preferred Digital ID provider, for example, myID.
2. Consent for information sharing screen: here you will provide consent for your information to be shared with the online service, for example, RAM.
If you use Digital ID to access the ATO’s online services through myGov, the same login process applies.
